Vinnie 7 days.... PLAY-ALONG

I found this London based magazine that has the Sting tune 7 days w/o drums. I think the mags name is Rythem. Does anybody know about this mag?

yeah, it's Rhythm and the play along is pretty good. (synth bass is a little out but otherwise it's good)

So it's just a drum machine pattern, not the actual recording with the drums taken out?

AFAIK, it's never the actual recording. It's always a remake with no vocals. Sounds like they get studio guys together to redo the track. The take with drums has whoever wrote that article playing, not Vinnie.

So, it's mostly real instruments, but it's not the original.
